Hello!
My name is Ashley
BASc., MSW, RSW
I am a seasoned social worker whose career spans over 30 years, beginning in eastern Ontario in 1996 and flourishing in York region since 2002. Throughout my journey, I have collaborated with numerous community agencies, building strong networks, and advocating for meaningful change.
I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Toronto and am a Registered Social Worker with the College of Social Workers. I also maintain an active membership with the Ontario Association of Social Workers, reflecting my commitment to professional excellence and ethical practice.
I describe myself as a woman, wife, mother, sister, aunt, ally, friend, and colleague. My passions include exploring nature, connecting with animals, engaging in the creative arts, and seeking out memorable adventures. A proud Canadian of Ukrainian heritage, I have lived in South America and traveled extensively—most recently to Africa. These experiences have deepened my global perspective and compassion.
My heart lies in empowering children, youth, and young adults to discover and embrace their fullest potential. Whether through direct support, advocacy, or mentorship, I help bring warmth, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to every life I touch.

Life brings both expected and unexpected challenges.
Let’s figure them out together.

A message to my clients:
Life is unrelenting. At times, its demands can feel overwhelming—leaving you drained, sad, confused, angry, lost, or hopeless. Booking an appointment is a courageous first step. It’s a way to press pause, take stock of what’s troubling you, and give voice to the thoughts and feelings held in your body. Together, we’ll create space for those emotions to be seen, heard, and reflected upon.
I will sit with you in your discomfort, walk alongside you as we chart a path forward, and help you build resilience and healthy coping strategies. I will celebrate every small step you take toward becoming the person you wish to be and creating the life you desire.
My practice is rooted in an eclectic, client-centred approach. I draw from a range of theories and modalities—including family systems, trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), and brief solution-focused techniques—while integrating my own life experiences, education, and professional journey.
Sincerely, Ashley
